Vacation and brain health


Jobs or tasks of everyday often make us feel stressed, depressed, even to the point of depression. When was this, rest is a must do. Usually we fill this time with a holiday break with family. However, do you know that too long a vacation can make our brain capacity declined?
From 2004 to 2008, The Hartford, an insurance company in Connecticut to conduct a survey and analyze more than 1 million cases of brain deterioration or 'short-term disability' due to the long vacation. Experts suspect it is because the brain seldom sharpened during the holidays.
In America, short-term disability known to a lot happened in November and December. However, in January and February, the decline of brain diseases that just a moment followed by a variety of illnesses such as depression, respiratory illness and injuries. As many as two-thirds of participants are known to have symptoms. 
Such symptoms are not something strange in there again because at that time was the winter where temperatures can be very low so that it can increase the risk of colds, coughs, respiratory disorders, accidents and depression.
Instead of summer, respiratory problems occurred two times more in the winter. Those who have respiratory problems is that more experienced short-term disability, especially those who suffer from pneumonia.
